30,000 Feet and Climbing

Here I am on my first plane ride. We are on Virgin America, a very hip airline.  The seats are a little tight and I am sharing with Mom and Dad.   But there are many great things about Virgin America.

Here's the short list:

1 - They have these funky lights that make it look like
2 - I can watch all my favorite TV shows while we fly (even though I do not watch TV at home,         wink wink)
3 - They have great games to play for when the TV gets boring
4 - Lots of great snacks
5 - They sell wine in these perfect little bottles, just enough to help me relax for the flight
6 - I can connect to the Internet and post to my blog while in flight

Mom and Dad were going on and on about when they were kids and how times have changed. They said they had to read books and do word finds to entertain themselves on board; they had to actually send film away to some secret location to have their pictures developed and then had to wait for them to arrive in the mail; they had to show their pictures to their friends and family in person; they didn't have blogs back then or blackberries or email and the Internet; they didn't have to pay for the food on the plane and that was a good thing even though it was always gross; and they had to sneak their own booze on the plane.

And they had to walk 5 mile uphill barefoot to get to school....

My how times have changed.

By the way, what is film?
