Dear loyal followers,
I am sorry for this little hiatus. I have been wanting to post a recap from our trip to Indianapolis, but my mother has been having "computer problems." At least that is what she is telling me, but between you and I, I think she is just tired of taking dictation. She keeps saying things like, "When are YOU going to learn to type? Do you think I am your secretary. I don't get paid for this." Blah, blah, blah. I am pretty sure there are a few hurdles I have to overcome before I can type, like rolling over, sitting up, and learning to read and write.
Anyway, here we are, home for almost two weeks and we have been enjoying looking at the pictures and thinking about our trip. Of course, it was amazing. Not only did I get to see Mimi and Grandad and Auntie Jenny and Uncle Casey, but I also got to meet Uncle Ben and Aunt Sara. They are so adorable, I just love them. We got to spend a lot of quality time with them and I can not wait to see them in Chicago in July.
I also got to meet a bunch of Mom and Dad's friends. Peter Joliffe spent a lot of time with us and we got to meet his wife Laura and their kids. They have a baby who is just a few months older than me. Too bad all the grown-ups wouldn't put me down long enough to play with her.
Mark Tushan, aka Uncle Bone, or Bones if you are talking to my Grandma, hung out a lot too. He is a doctor but mom says he isn't a real doctor. And she is glad he isn't a pediatrician. Not sure I get the joke, but this is a good test to see if your reading Uncle Bones.
We also met the Shah's who are more like family than friends. Kishan and Ravi really like to hold me and Mom and Dad are hoping Kish goes to Stanford so that they will have a trusty babysitter close by.
On Saturday night we had a picnic and that was the most fun! We met so many of dad's old friends - he was so happy to see everyone. He got to watch the Penguins game with his friends. Yay - they won! I think it is because I was wearing my lucky Penguins onsie.
Grandad got to experience first hand what happens if I don't go down for my naps in time. Here is a picture of him using a fool-proof method of sleep induction. Mom felt bad that Grandad got to experience of wrath of Lucy but I liked that he got to help me sleep.

One of the best nights of the weekend was Monday night. Mimi and Dad made amazing pizza's (and Mom didn't chime in once!!!) and then we watched old family movies. Dad was very cute when he was little, despite the bowl haircut and really, really big glasses. He was a little crusty and competitive back then. Not much has changed, he is just better at hiding it now!
We took a lot of great pictures, but this one is my favorite.

I miss you Mimi!
We have been pretty busy since we got home, enjoying the beautiful weather. I won't bore you with all the details but one big thing happened. I turned 5 months old yesterday!

I am off to conquer the world.
Love always,
Lucy Angelina
