I have been on a whirlwind the last few days. Since we landed we really haven't stopped having fun. Even though I am so delighted by everything going on around me, Mom keeps putting me down for my naps. I am having a hard time falling asleep and settling down and have been staying up way past my bedtime! I know Mom feels a little bad for me, worried that I am not getting my rest and fussing a little more than usual, but it is worth it! I love getting all this attention and exploring the East Coast.
On Monday morning me, my Mom and Dad went to Connecticut to visit with Grandma Mimi, Auntie Ann and Uncle Pete. AA and UP, as they are affectionately called, have a great house - I slept so well there! It is cozy and luxurious and I can't wait to go back and visit again. We had some friends stop by to see me while I was there - Amanda Dawson and her kids Carolina and Owen, Judy Dunn and Sue and Jim.

And it isn't a visit to AA and UP's without a morning cup of joe from Dunkin Donuts. I told UP that I didn't want a large, but that's what he got and of course I drank the whole thing. Come on, that coffee cup is bigger than I am. I did feel good and get a lot done that day. Why do I keep jonesin' for another one?

On Wednesday we went to visit my Mom's cousin Susan and her three daughters, Ava, Olivia and Madeline, otherwise known as the triplets. They are so fun and were so into me! They wanted to rock me in the car seat, change my diaper, kiss me, hold me and play with me. Basically, I was like a real life baby doll. I didn't mind, it was so fun! I can't wait to play with them some more when I come back to visit.

After all the fun, I had to re-focus and do a little work. I stopped by Dad's office to help him and his colleague, Linda Kim get some clarity on time lines and out-of-pockets for the new Ad Campaign. I hope they are prepared because I charge consultant fees.

After all that hard work, it was time to kick back and relax....

I was told that as long as I am in New York City, I have to have a piece of pizza. We met up with Mom and Dad's good friends Dave and Lisa Fishetti at Patsy's on 35th and 3rd for a pie and some penne alla vodka. I can't compare it to San Francisco pizza because my mother refuses to eat it, but I can say it was delicious! Dave and Lisa are having a baby in July - I am not sure what they are having, but I do hope for another boy ;-)

And no trip to NYC is complete without Tasti D Lite!

I know we only saw a few friends and just scratched the surface, but Mom promises we'll be back soon! I can't wait. I loved all of the noise and everything there is to look at. And the accents! So it isn't just my Grandpa and Grandma who sound like that! They are beau-ti-ful! I think I am a NYC girl at heart.
